This video was meant to urge people to donate to Lunch Break, a nonprofit organization in Red Bank, New Jersey that provides food, clothing and social services for those in need. I'm extremely proud of this video. Not because the color or the mix or really anything about it is perfect, because clearly it's not. But because we had one week to help this amazing organization out pro bono, and literally no budget. So we went rogue. My team and I directed it, filmed it, and produced it. It all came from the concept that it doesn't matter who you are, because we're all in this together. We wanted to film board members, volunteers, the executive director, and clients of lunch break and have them speak from the heart about what Lunch Break means to them, not revealing who they are until the end of the video. Filming this and meeting all of these wonderful people evoked laughter, tears, and all around respect for one another. I couldn't be prouder of it despite its imperfections because I know what went into it, and talking to these wonderful people really changed me for the better. And I'm proud to say it lead to a huge increase in donations to Lunch Break.
